Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30-days after delivery to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Note that there is no restocking fee.

The Return Process

  1. To start a return contact us at contact@hogabay.com. To ensure a quick process, include "[Return Request]" (without the quotes) in the email subject line.
  2. In the email body, include the order number, the name of the product(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.
  3. Send the email to us.  Once we receive the email, processing will commence.  We may request additional information during this stage.
  4. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  5. You are responsible for the return shipping cost which are non-refundable.
  6. Once your package is shipped to us, please scroll down this page and refer to the Refund section below.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Exchanges / Replacements

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 

We accept refund requests within 30-days of delivery:

  • Within 14 days (2 weeks): Eligible for a 100% refund
  • 15–30 days: Eligible for a 50% refund
  • 30+ days: No refund will be issued

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

Keep in mind it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at contact@hogabay.com.
